1) What is a "buyin" and why does it matter?
A buyin is when a broker cannot locate shares to short of a stock so the broker sends a buyin notice to any short sellers in that stock. When shorts are forced to buy to cover their positions, this usually creates a spike in stock price, otherwise known as a short squeeze.
Subscribers of BuyinAlerts can profit on these spikes by buying before or while the shorts are being forced to buy to cover their short positions. Subscribers of BuyinAlerts will be alerted in real-time to the same buyin notices currently only received by short sellers of a stock.
After these buyin-induced spikes have come and gone, a stock price is often inflated due to the forced buying due to the buyins thus creating a great short selling opportunity later on.
Subscribers of BuyinAlerts are alerted to these volatile trading setups in real-time and have an edge over other traders who do not have access to such important information.
2) Who runs BuyinAlerts?
This newsletter is run by Timothy Sykes, co-founder of Profit.ly and Investimonials.com and a noted short seller. He has partnered with LocateStock so, for the first time, subscribers of BuyinAlerts have access to this valuable buyin information that can be used by both short sellers and traders who prefer buying. Timothy Sykes does not trade nor alert his other subscribers to these BuyinAlerts as BuyinAlerts is an independent brand new newsletter.
3) Do broker buyins always create stock spikes?
Not always, but when there are enough short sellers who receive buyin notices, their buying to cover isn't optional and so this broker-forced buying usually impacts stock prices to create upward stock spikes. Most brokers don't care about their customers so their buying to cover their customers accounts happen all at once leading to HUGE stock price spikes anywhere between 10 and 50% within a few minutes, hours and days.
Successful traders are always trying to find stocks where there will be predictable buying or selling one way or the other due to catalysts, ie when a company reports great earnings that exceed everyone's expectations, most likely the stock will spike higher or if a company warns business has slowed, most likely the stock will tank lower.
When short sellers of a stock receive buyin notices this is an EXTREMELY important news catalyst that will likely influence the stock price in one specific direction, upwards. Knowing exactly when and on which stocks there are buyins gives subscribers of BuyinAlerts an edge that other traders don't have.
4) How many BuyinAlerts will there be each month?
It varies based on market conditions, but typically anywhere from 4 to 10 BuyinAlerts per month, always with daily watchlists of potential buyins.
5) What kinds of stocks does BuyinAlerts cover?
All kinds of stocks: from the cheapest all the way up to stocks trading for hundreds and thousands of dollars per share like Google and Berkshire Hathaway. Whatever stocks have too many short sellers and are subject to potential broker buyins on their shorts... certainly not just penny stocks, which is Timothy Sykes' forte.
6) Are there any free trials and can I cancel at anytime?
There are no free trials because this information is too valuable to those who know how to use it, both for short sellers and traders who prefer buying. It's not fair to our paying subscribers to give this important information away for free to just anybody.
When you sign up for a monthly subscription, you can cancel at anytime so by becoming a subscriber of BuyinAlerts, your risk is equal to the commissions on a few trades.
The upside of becoming a subscriber of BuyinAlerts is obviously far greater since the profits from buying a stock before a giant buyin-induced short squeeze range from thousands of dollars all the way up to hundreds of thousands of dollars... sometimes even millions of dollars... and there are also great profit potential short selling profits later after the buyins have come and gone... so there is an EXCELLENT risk-reward ratio to becoming a subscriber of BuyinAlerts.
7) Which plan should I choose?
The most popular plan is BuyinAlerts Gold since it includes actual real-time BuyinAlerts while only premarket and intraday watchlists are included in the BuyinAlerts Bronze and Silver plans, respectively. See the pricing table on this page and choose the plan that's right for you!
